You're safer even at slow speed in primary When passing parked cars etc. because drivers see you and are less likely to run you over than if you ride where they don't see you. You may get hooted and intimidated which is really shit and scares Aunty Brenda to riding in a less visible position. Every time a driver beeps a cyclists it means 1. I've seen you so am less likely to kill you and 2. Get out my way.
