I've noticed drivers accelerating when they see me or others in primary position. It's a way of justifying their annoyance. Even if the cyclist is doing 20, they will do 25 catch up then get in a huff about having to slow to the limit briefly.
RE: Antie Brenda's speed. How do you reconcile being safer in primary with only riding a few MPH on a dutch style shopper? I've always felt inclinded to keep a high pace when I'm in primary.
