Tourney: Beneligue

i would be up for this ... alas, i have plans.

lets all make a pact between us to get polo events in the diary earlier this year.

the organizers seem to got problems with locations, thats why the short notice..

It's cool, I'm not having a go at anyone.

It is indeed a good pact, 2 weeks notice is less then ideal. We had some problems with the owner of the building we are playing in and didn't want to disappoint anybody if we couldn't make it happen after all (especially sucks when you already booked tickets)

Beneligue needs to come back to one-month-notice, that's true, *cough*like it was for #1 and #2cough. ;-)

Like announced inofficially here (http://leagueofbikepolo.com/forum/tournaments/2011/11/10/confirm-or-deny-tournament-rumours-2012#comment-91233 or here http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-BENELIGUE/117702881658146), BENELIGUE #5 will happen one month later, in Mechelen/Malines (just between Antwerp and Brussels, so in Belgium again) on the 19th of february 2012 at the fiets & wandel-convention (http://www.fietsenwandelbeursvlaanderen.be/), in the Nekkarhallen (indoor, good conditions http://www.nekkerhal.be/?page_id=30##inhoud#inhoud), we just have to work out the last details, but it will be quite the same like in Haarlem, court building thursday/friday, saturday throw-ins, sunday tourney (number of teams undetermined yet, because of time issues sunday).

To many tournaments on one day, a good problem to have :)

To avoid maybe such collisions in future and give you more time to plan, here our planified dates for the next Beneligue tourneys beyond #5:

BENELIGUE #6, 17-18th of March, (probably) Antwerp (BEL), or maybe Eindhoven (NL) or another good place,
BENELIGUE #7, 14-15 of April, Dunkerque (FR),
BENELIGUE #8, (most probably) 5th and 6th of May, Bruxelles/Brussels (BEL)

Beneligue #6: Amsterdam - Sunday March 25

Outdoor, with toilet/shower facilities. Bar will be open (beer, soda's, food), the bar is located like 1m from the field.

For foreigners we can arrange some housing. If you let me know next week, after that you have to arrange a hotel/hostel/villa yourself.

Oh really? That's interesting, I thought #6 was on the 17th/18th which is the same weekend as the London Cup.

But if it's a week later it only clashes with Madrid, which I'm not going to.
