Last time I rode my dads ike it had a mirage/veloce mix (since been upgraded to full veloce) and compared to my 105 set (with FSA omega crank and tektro brakes)
His has a very positive down shift goes with a proper clunk thanks to the thumb shift but up shifting more than 1 at a time doesn't feel as smooth. I find downshifting easier in a sprint with the thumb shifter, although this could be cos his bikesba fair bit shorter so is easier anyway???
Campag looks sooooooo sexy but unless the bike was Italian I'd probably go shimano, for some reason I've become obsessed with there stuff, even considering getting there dx pedals for when I ride in flats hahahaha
Anyone know where I can get last years 5600??? 105 brakes? Can only found the new ones. By accident I got the new 105 pedals and don't like how 105 is wrote as much, mainly as it doesn't match.
Are 2nd hand chainrings a stupid idea, really want a 56t dura ace one but can't afford the £150 for a new one I saw them priced at?
