Not to try and intellectualise this but, I agree. Much like the Ratbikes thread it contains bikes that have interest or soul poured onto them. 'Spose that inadvertently says something about the people posting here too. Also I'm not sure if I can look at another fucking Moots or crabon piece of shit.

It's all about bikes that get ridden and enjoyed, not some bankers jewellery....

This is pretty much what I mean. I want to see bikes that were built by their owners in a way that they find awesome. Bikes that get used. Bikes that 8 year old boys will stare at. Not some kind of masturbation project by some twat to showcase how much they can afford to spend on something they hardly ever use.
The whole spirit of the porn thread has become boring and predictable. I think I've seen enough Ti cross bikes now, thank you. And whatever the next fad is, I think I'll pass. I'll just stick to bikes that we all thought were awesome in 2008, before some of us developed some feeling of exaltedness, started taking bikes (and themselves) way too seriously and thus look down upon bikes that are just plain fun, without anything substantial to back up their demeanor.

By the way, is it frowned upon to post your own bike in this topic? (It's pretty HHSB)
