Knutsford is 14 miles from Chorlton, best route is via Jackson's Boat, Sale, Brooklands, Hale, Ashley, Tatton Park. On the way back, Mobberley to Wilmslow is an option but you're looking at nearer 40 round trip rather than 20.

bring it on! Mostly flat innit. The brief but steep hill at the start of Styal Road will seperate the boys from the big boys blouses after 30 miles :) I vote for a big chainring-only sprint rule :-p
