First things first, i said it John in jest in the pub.
However there is some truth in it,
I don't think its very fair to ask London teams to pay for a train fare to go and play their league fixture in somewhere that is not London,(I know they are not obliged to, and all of the teams you have asked have said no and you still got the fixture played in London. Bravo.)
When it comes down to it, if you actually got a team to agree to play their fixture there, then yes, probably it would count. But if they had to play in Cambridge to get the fixture played and they didn't want to/couldn't make it. It would be your team receiving the forfeit.
To be honest, **I actually think its pretty shitty that you picked a player from Cambridge **(no offence Bogey) in the first place, for the London league but didn't want to cause a fuss. I really am curious to know why you did? There are lots of great players in London.
i didnt realise stuff that annoyed you could be changed at your whim. now i get it. Your rules your league. understood. your opinion.
