Out of all people who has sooo many nice bikes? Very surprised!!! -

Might be interested in the wheelset. Is it the one pictured on the bike? Black Rims & Black LF Hubs?
-
• #4
Not this wheelset, same rims, but silver older version (no logos on a side of a flanges) of Miche Primato.
Will take pictures in a bit.The one in the picture above has low flange phil wood hubs, and i'd like to keep those.

I'm a bit confused, not sure what to do now.
In the morning I had 2-3 frames too many and knew i have to sell something.
Send a PM to a guy who was interested in Dave Russell a while ago, and he was keen, but needed fork that would take brake, so i sold him one of the other three i was thinking to sell, the only one that would take brake.
Then i posted this, and mentioned i've got something else to other. I had load of interest in the other frame by PM's. Now it provisionally sold too.Now I've got enough room at home and enough money to pay bills, and very tempted to keep this one as an every day ride.

Easy, keep it.. Love this frame, but you already knew that.. I'd say this is like some divine intervention or summit..

Damn, would've committed a murder for those LF Phil wheels.
I have my frame for sale today. It really is hard to sell it, but i have to many bikes at the moment, and just bought something I'd rather keep instead.
Dave Russell frame with matching Gazelle track fork.
58 cm seat tube ctc and 54.5cm top tube ctc.
Not sure what tubing, but it's pretty light, Campagnolo track ends, 120mm spacing. Fork is Reynolds 531(stamped on the steerer), has Gazelle logos engraved on a fork crown.
Originally frame was build as track/time-trial frame, and had braze on's for rear brake and rear mech cables, as well as rear mech hanger. To me it came as a frame only, with only rear mech hanger left, poorly resprayed. I it removed by a frame builder (who also found a fork from his old Gazelle track bike with a long enough steerer to fit my frame), when stripped the paint myself, lacquered it, but wasn't happy with a quality of a lacquer, so in the end it was taken to Armourtex, sand blasted and clear coated.
Not too sure of the age either, number on a bottom bracket shell is 266. It has imperial sized seatpost clamp bolt ( 7/32, included), not sure how common it is.
Please note, it has few minor dents in a top tube, tried to picture them in last few pictures.

£SOLD
Just frame and fork is for sale.
I would prefer collection (London, N1 or E8), so preference to local sales, but i could post if buyers are willing to cover the cost of it.
You can dib as much as you want, but cash is a winner!
Thanks for your attention!
