I am personally convinced that running gives my cycling a big boost, we shall see how it impacts my (bike) training this week.

definitely, when I was in marathon shape last year I was climbing a lot more easily on my mountain bike, now I'm struggling to get 15 miles a week in running I'm finding I can't go uphill as fast or recover as quickly.
