I did my standard 3.5 mile loop last night, was concerned I was going to blow up halfway round and throttled back a lot, by the time I was coming up to the last left turn I was back to feeling like I had some pace in my legs again, which was nice- bit of an up and down run.
Second of the year, and so far the foot is allowing me to run, so all good.
I am personally convinced that running gives my cycling a big boost, we shall see how it impacts my (bike) training this week.
I'm planning on lots of heavy resistance work for my legs in the gym, 3 minute power intervals on the turbo, mixed up with some 5k runs and 2 hour Z2 sessions on the bike- probably 2 degree circuits of Richmond Park.
