Trying out the flipped north road(ish) bars with my new newbalm tape.
Using a cross top at the top of the bars and the braking is hideous. So I really need to try and get some old road brakes. Which means I'll get to test how reusable the cloth tape is. Also I've forgotten how much these particular bars annoy me. They're a funny size, bar plugs don't fit (hence the corks), normal brakes don't fit, they creak, etc....

I also like the idea of the low drop of the soma 3-speed. (lots of bars in Gags thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread16416.html ). Does anyone have lots of experience of these type of bars, and can anyone make any particular recommendations?
