CYOA's image must be cached in your browser from when he first posted it.

I can assure you, it's not there.

Come on people (all those reporting this, PMing me and mentioning it), you know how the internet works right?

You'll find broken images if:

• The images no longer exist at the server that hosted them (old threads have this a lot)
  
• People put in the URL of a file on their computer (C:\path\to\image.jpg)
  
• People put in the URL of a file that is security protected (http://hotmail.com/myinbox/image.jpg)
  
• People put in the URL of a page rather than an image file (http://flickr.com/page/with/my/photo/)
  
  

That's all.

It's not a problem with the forum, the software works fine, the internet isn't broken... just, people are posting broken links, links that won't work for others.

Tell them to fix it. Tell them up attach an image. Or to put it in a Dropbox public folder and link to it. Tell them to do anything except those things above which is what they've probably done.
