Very nice.
Anyone know what sort of mech that hanger thing is for?

^ I think it's for a cyclo benelux derailleur - Jack Taylor bikes used to have them,
nice frame by the way

Two more images attached - front and rear dropouts, feel like a chump, Wife''s camera just ran out of memory!
Couldn't upload to the original post(?).
Someone has mentioned the Cyclo bracket, you could remove, ignore or use a Cyclo - I might have a NoS one if required.
Personally I'd use a more conventional mech - unless you wanted to build faithfully to period.
Roadking.
P.S in danger of selling this to myself!!!

"NOT" the pic's requested and I thought you mentioned the chrome was salvageable, looks pretty well shot to me?

I'll post fork crown and seat cluster later(see previous post in thread), and repost "fettled"chrome also...if posters wish. However I'm selling this as a frame for restoration*, whether the chrome is acceptable as is is a matter of both opinion and choice.
Some will prefer the original patina, some will want to restore this rare frame to its former glory - Soens frames are v.rare and rarely come onto the open market: what makes this frameset attractive is (a) the provenance - I bought it from the original owner, and (B) the rareity & quality of the build.
Thank you for the interest,
Roadking.

Just to confirm that I will defo' "NOT" be making a purchase on this frame for reasons best unknown. Seller not strictly honest about this one and a bit of a time waster to say the least. Suggest that any potential purchasers PM me for further details.

RustyMudguard is a little confused about the meaning of honesty, I am irritated by his"timewaster"comment and his general attitude.
The sale is genuine and so is this rare frame, I am quite well-known in classic bicycle circles and genuinely thought this frame would be of interest to forum members - I misled myself and I've now *withdrawn* the frameset from sale on this forum.
Make of that what you will.

Not an option really for Roadking to remove from forum, would only have only created himself further embarrassment!
A rare Jim Soens (Liverpool), 1946, 22.5"seattube & toptube(C2C), frame & fork for sale, 120mm between rear dropouts.
A copy of the original invoice is available, purchased this from the original owner; I now have too many projects on the go and need to thin out.
No structural damage, but will be a lovely frame when refinished. Includes original (valuable on it's own) alloy headset.
I would like £95 + postage for it.
Roadking.
