Some advice for you chaps, me and a mate did the coast to coast FIXED + BRAKELESS (cos its cool). We did it in two days and absolutely destroyed ourselves. If you guys are doing it fixed then I THOUROUGHLY recommend you have a brake (or take one in your bag) resisting pedals and skidzzzz hurt after all the nasty hills. I also insist that you run a low gearing say 68-70 gear inches. On a lighter note to enjoy the summer weather you should pack some sun cream and some form of lubricant (for that chapped saddle groin) :)
