Get race blades if you want something sturdy and easy to put on / take off. Or crud road things if your fitting them for the winter and want proper protection.

Just buy a new bike and set of clothes after each wet journey?

Just having fun. Maybe suggesting the possibility of DIY.
I would never get those, either full coverage or nothing.^
That's fenders/mudguards I'm referring to there.

Thanks all. Fuji is winter bike so only care that they fit well and keep the crap off.
Dont think I'll be needing £200+ bits of carbon to collect road spray :)

my 2004 fuji track.......new carbon time forks waiting to go on it, and a new saddle once i can afford it. still running standard truvativ cranks.has mks pedals with bagaboo straps.
wheels are H+son formation face built onto shimano xt bolt on hubs, and then its a SL42 rim up front with a shimano 105 caliper. gearing is 40-18 cause spinning is great craic ;)

Hi!
Does anybody have recommendations on a new fork for 2011 Fuji Classic Track (56cm). Im looking for a little bit snappier ride and righter clearance.
would these be any better than the stock fork?

despite Ed's piss taking, carbon forks will give a noticeable increase in ride quality, clearances don't have much to do with it.

Does anyone know what the biggest tyres you can fit on a track classic are? I've got 24s on at the moment but it seems like there's room for something chunkier which could be useful for winter commuting.

my fuji went all HHSB
then got ellipses and a chode
broke an ellipse, de-stickered front and got a new saddle
up for sale soon!
I really prefer the look of the race blades, but the road racers offer far superior protection.
