I've never understood the overtake approaching lights thing either. But it used to bother me way more. I'm sussing out that the majority of drivers can't see why they would want to be behind an apparently 'slower' and 'erratic' vehicle when they could pass it. This plays on their mind. I'd rather they picked a wide place and overtook me safely to chill themselves out than sat frustratedly behind me only to squeeze me later out of impatience - even if I will inevitably glide past them 100 yards up the road. Whatever gets us all home without a cardiac or worse in my opinion.
