    Hi Folks

Due to iminent arrival of baby 2 I'm having to let go of my track bike.

Built up Summer 2010 - frame bought new from Bob Jackson (docs can be provided).

    Spec is as follows:

    • Frame: off the peg BJ Vigorelli (21.5"/54-55cm) - Reynolds 631 tubing - white paint with green lug lining.
    • Velo Orange seatpost and stem (with shim)
    • Chris King no threadset (green)
    • Campagnolo Chorus crank (172.5mm) with 48t TA chainring
    • Campagnolo Chorus BB
    • Surly 18t cog with chain tug and KMC chain
    • Wheels are miche track hubs laced to 32 spoke open pro rims. The front rim is buckled due to a knock I took on the Uxbridge road. I am happy to have replaced and rebuilt or discount the purchase to factor this.
    • Continental gatorskin tyres (23mm)
    • Campag Veloce Skeleton brake caliper
    • Tektro brake lever with cane creek stoker grip
    • Brooks green leather bar tape
      -Trek "angel" bottle cage
    • Crud catcher mudguards fitted.
    • Pictured with a chopped and laced Brooks which I would rather keep and happy to replace with a Korean made Swallow look-a-like pictured below.

The bike is in good condition considering being ridden in London - there are marks on the frame though mostly around the chainstays. As stated above I took a hit whilst riding home but was at a relatively low speed and the front wheel took the damage.

After the above full disclosure, I'm looking for offers in the region of £600.

I'm based in the Ealing area if you'd like to have a look in the flesh but could potentially arrange pick up in Oxford Circus (please no time wasters!).

Thanks for checking this out - I promise to clean the bike before sale!

  • Nice, but mate - you might have a much better response if its bloody clean....

  • yeah I know - been pretty short on time, will get round to it and post new pics asap!

  • Is it drilled for a rear brake ?

  • afraid not. additional drillings for mudguards only.

  • Clean me

  • Is it 1 1/8"? Would be interested in Frameset if splitting.

  • No its a 1" steering column. Would rather not split at the moment.

  • Yeah a damn good clean and a decent photo shoot without all that crap in the background, nothing more anoying than guys like you that dont bother to make an effort!

  • wow, thanks for the bump/forthright criticism. Its like having Mary Portas on the forum!

Notwithstanding the cleanliness of the bike, any comments on the components or value of the sale are welcome!

  • About a fiver's worth in that state matey!

  • Still waiting for new photos...

  • **New clean pictures as promised!
    **

  • Further to questions received - I am happy to consider swapping out the Chris King for a cheaper headset and consider a lower offer.

    Please PM if of interest.

    Thanks

  • Love this saddle.

£600 seems like a good deal for a Bob.

  • Lovely touch on the headset/bar tape combo.

  • Alright folks, given the slow response I'm prepared to drop the price to £540 and I will swap out the Chris king for an mpart or similar model and will have the front wheel rebuilt.

    Any takers?

  • Here she is in "track mode" - any recent world cup inspired buyers???

The front wheel is being rebuilt this week so will be fully functioning soon. Happy to provide in either build up.

  • Still not splitting?

  • nice bike at a fair price

  • I love my Bob Jackson Vigorelli, well recommended. I guess it's the story about hitting something that's putting people off.
