I'm too embarrassed to start a brand new thread so I'll just say I collided with some pedestrians on Mare Street who didn't have the time to look at what was coming down the bus lane/road (complete with double yellows and kerbs)...they did 'that' dance and off I came.
I obviously remained calm and made sure they were alright and I fixed my chain and carried on riding to work (Westminster). When I stopped I was hobbling and got sent down to A&E (perk), x-rayed and sent home.
I know it's stupid to want to scare pedestrians but...I cycle/drive/walk. Have been doing all three for years and years and years. I 'get the difference between pavement and road and that metal/concrete +speed = pain.
There were fine by the way. I'm the one hobbling, looking constipated but at least it wasn't a broken wrist or worse..my face.
