Right, this is still hanging in my shed so can someone take it and use it please? I've split it, and am holding onto a couple of bits but does anyone want the Frame, forks and headset?
I'm in SE23, come and grab it one evening this week. I need to make room. -

I had the model down from this as my first bike in London. It has tons of braze ons for racks and things.
Alround I thought it was a good practical bike. Surprised it hasnt been picked up.... maybe just chuck it on ebay with no reserve.

If no one takes it for free then I might have to eBay, I'll give it a few days.

Hi, I am moving to London at the start of July and I would like to build a bike with your frame, so if it is still available then I would like very much to come and collect it.
Thanks Laci -

Cheers, gone to jontybottomley
I've recently been given the chance to salvage this bike but I fear it's too big a project for a bike that I don't need. I am also a bit scared of modern frame/fork materials and don't know how confident I would be about riding on a composite fork that's got unknown history. having said that, the fork has relatively minor scratches and doesn't creak when I put pressure on it. It's a very light alloy frame with composite forks, originally retailed at about £600 for the whole Deore/Alivio equipped bike. The top tube is about 23" and seat tube 21" (but with all the slopes it's hard to know what to measure!)
With the frame and forks you would get a cane creek headset, deore hollowtech triple chainset (with chainrings that you'll want to ditch and some knackered pedals that may be quite seized in the cranks but a very smoothly turning bb), V-brakes (one with the post still embedded in it as the pivot bolt seized more effectively than the threadlock holding the post into the alloy insert in the fork), silver stem and riser bars (a bit scuffed here and there but quite shiny still) a front mech that's got quite a bit of rust and is missing the bolt on the clamp, Tektro brake levers, Deore 9 speed shifters, possibly a seatpost, and a rear wheel with an 8 speed block and an Alex rim and a 45mm Kenda knobblyish tyre and some slightly loose spokes.
If anyone can pick this up from SE23, it's free.
