Keep sending him invites through FB to all the petitions you can find - change.org

This sounds like a plan.

Speak to him in real life, explain what you just said, be polite and make a joke at your own expense about being really anal when it comes to your facebook.

This doesn't. He is quite disagreeable, horribly racist, maturity of a 5 year old etc. Luckily I don't tend to have to be in the same building as him at work and I usually manage to get away with less than 5 minutes total conversation time so the less I have to talk to him about the better.
