Its easier than driving a car, just watch the back end and take corners wider than you would usually. Its just the length that is slightly daunting but once you get the hang of it you'll be fine. Get stuck then give me a bell. Zero seven940 168 one nine two

You'll be ok.
Take it slowly.Adjust your mirrors - watch for blind spots. Have in mind height and lenght of the vehicle.
Buy "Daily Mail" and off you go. -

And remeber - don't worry about other cars behind you as long as you indicate. It's their problem, not yours. Just watch your nearside for cyclists.

did it! it was easy pretty much like car, the can was huge though . . ford transit 350 :D
Thank you for offering help!
I am moving from Putney to Manor house and have booked a ford transit 350 2.4 with europcar. Its 4 of us who are moving there so needed a kinda big van.
I have rented and drove car in this country (i am originally from India) but never van and that too in London :P
I am a bit paranoid about this, I have purchased insurance cover (with excess to 0) and everything but IF I turn out to be a total tit at this, I might need help.
I know this is last moment but with all the moving process I forgot to post :(
Is there anyone I can contact here on forum who might be a help if I mess up? Just a number is fine so that I have SOME backup. I will be traveling this morning around 11-ish from SW15 3AB to N4 1DG.
Thanks in advance
