sorry post was incomplete, just writing it up now. It was pitlocked to the fork but they just took that too :(
Cannondale Forks and Hed3
Just had the front half of my bike stolen fron Vestry Street near Old Street.
Bits taken:
Hed3 Tub with red/yellow logo 700c (small magnet glued inside valve recess)
Continental competition Tubular (25c)
Cannondale Slice front forks Silver with Red.
Wheel was pitlocked to front fork
Saddle taken was a Fizik Alient Gamma white and black
Seatpost was a Ritchy Carbon
^(I had previously had a ball bearing in the seat collar but didn't put it back after an adjustment because it was a pain to remove :( )
Cannondale Stem
Easton Delta force bull horn bars with delighful pink tape 40cm ctc
1 Shimano Dura Ace time trial brake
Shimano 105 front Calipers
Crap cateye computer
Cateye front light glued to bracketHere are some pics of before (with a different tub)
Wheel with the tub on it when stolen
and what they left:
The rest of the bike was locked with a Kryptonite New York U lock so that was still there at least.
Another girl had here complete Ridgeback bike stolen which was locked with a £100+ Abus chain.
If anyone can get me the wheel back there will be a nice reward. -

My brooks saddle just got stolen outside the Dove on Broadway market. Saturday evening around 9:30. Had it for 6 years and has real sentimental value. Done many many miles on it. Black Team Pro. The one with those large round copper bits on there (whatever they are called). It was even locked with a cable which they cut. It might be easy to recognize as it had a pretty new tension pin (which I just replaced recently) while everything else looks fairly old and worn in. If anyone is offered one or comes across it please let me know. Thanks!!!

yup. thats the plan. Although I am not quite sure who to call when I see it. Wouldn't approach those dodgy sellers. Roxy posted a number of the market warden here ones but thats a long time ago.

I've no idea where to start in actually getting it if you see it there. I would probably buy it back

I would probably smash them in the throat but go with your gut

Stolen from Shoreditch this week: a beautiful Vitus with all campagnolo parts.
It is a Vitus frame 56cm, the stem for the handle bars was quite distinctive as it is so short and stumpy - i had to customise it as i am too small for this bike really. Also since the picture I had added a set of brake on the top handle bars. I love this bike, and I'd do anything to get this back, and am happy to pay a reward for it (£100+). I will go to Brick lane this morning, but meanwhile if anyone spots this please let me know!

My friend's bike (which i gave her) was stolen Friday night/saturday morning from London Bridge. The kicker is those thieving c*nts on the corner of broadway market and london fields where selling that very Saturday. I clocked it, and called the police. Then my friend turned up and decided maybe it wasn't hers (she hadn't been back to London Bridge). But of course it was, and they disappeared after she looked it over and made a silly comment about it looking like her bike. Anyway I'm sick of those arseholes, feel free to give any one of them a good kicking - and if you see the bike PM please.
Unfortunately the only identifying things are a large rip on the right back side of the saddle, the tape on the right it ripped up from a crash - that's about it.

I am probably being suspicious for no reason, but today I passed a nice bike chained to a lamp post on chatsworth market. The bike was in mint condition and advertised for sale £200 ono. The bike is a Specialized Allez red and white bike. If anyone has had their bike stolen matching this model it might be worth investigating. Or if it is perfectly legitimate then this might be a good deal...

No thief can draw stars that accurately.

They are also using a rather nice chain...

If he's big enough to nick a tumble dryer I'd stay well clear.

If you want the best, and if you don't ask questions then, brother, Mark's your man.
-
• #7643
Wonder if he's got the shoes for those pedals?
-
• #7644
Starry Mark? I though the police shot him...
-

if it looks to good to be true and seems to good to be true ... my guess is he just priced it badly
-
• #7646
So who's going to ring him?
-
• #7647
Must be stolen, who prices a nearly new bike that low clearly without googling how much it is new?

You sad cynics. It has a hand drawn smiley face; he must be genuine...

i think mark might be a bit of a fence
Did you not have the wheel locked to the frame?
