Just moved my whole polo position forward. Since shortening the chainstays I found that I don't need to be right at the front of the saddle rails with a 40mm to have control over the front wheel. Saddle rails centred on the clamp and an 80mm stem feels just right now. So much more control on the steering than when I had the 40mm stem.
Next thing to do with that bike will be some flat bars and for the stem to be flipped. I can then run a brake lever modified for dual and not a franken lever where I'm modifying it to work while clamped on the riser bend.
In other news, I've finally ordered the material I need to make my crank spiders.
