• Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html for details of what is available.

    ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

    CONDOR TOURING FRAME 1990
    Seat Tube (ctt): 23.5in (60cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531ST
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Wheel size: 700C
This is a truly excellent all out Condor touring frame built I think by Dave Yates for Condor. Its built from Reynolds 531 ST tubing and has all the necessary braze-ons for serious touring – two sets bottle cage bosses, rear rack bosses, cantilever/Vbrake bosses and mudguard eyelets. The paint is in very good/excellent condition with just a few marks. £225

HAWKES ROAD/TRACK FRAME Early 1950s Nervex Pro lugs
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
    Rear dropout width: 110mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Wheel size: 27s or sprint/700C with brake drop of 62mm
Hawkes was an East London framebuilder and shop. This frame has been built with Nervex Pro lugs which have been filed beautifully thin. The two-plate fork crown is also a work of art with beautifully fretted decorative sidepieces. The paint is in very sound condition and there are no dents or dings to the frame. £215

VELOS FOUGERE ROAD/TT FRAME Reynolds 531
    Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 45mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Despite its name this frame is not French – Fern Cycles in Leicester used Velos Fougere as their brand name. Fern in French is Fougere... This is a rather nice road/time trial from the late 70s/early 80s. The paint is in very good condition with just a few small marks but the top tube has a small dent on one side where a handlebar has come round and hit – this will not affect the strength or stiffness of the frame... With horizontal dropouts its easily used as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. £89

    PEUGEOT PREMIERE ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 55mm
This Peugeot Premiere road frame from the early 1980s is in very good condition with very few marks to the paint. The horizontal dropouts will make it ideal for conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £45

    E G BATES ROAD FRAME 1980s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 53mm)
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This E G Bates road frame from the 1980s is in very sound condition with attractive though not perfect paint. It has a small dent to one seatstay but the I have checked the frame alignment and it is is fine. It would make a very easy fixed/singlespeed conversion £74

    PROBIKE ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (58cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27 or sprint/700C with brake drop of 70mm
This budget road frame is in very sound condition with no dents, dings or cracks. It can easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £29

GEORGE ELRICK ROAD FRAME 1950s/60s Nervex Pro lugs
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 55mm
George Elrick was a frame framebuilder from Stirling in Scotland who was building frames from the 1930s through to the 1970s. More on George Elrick can be found at http://www.framebuilders.toucansurf.com/george-elrick-lowerbridgestree.htm This frame dating from the late 1950s/early 1960s is really rather nice with an exceptionally nicely executed fork crown. Its built with Nervex Pro lugs and Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. The paint is in very poor condition and the frame also had a stuck seat tube when I got it – this has been successfully removed. It can easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £69

    RALEIGH MERCURY ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 23.5in (60cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 50mm
    Seatpost size: 25.4mm
This is rather nice budget Raleigh road frame from the late 1980s with standard British threading. The paint is in very good condition and there are no dents or dings. It would make a very straightforward fixed or singlespeed conversion. £45

    TOWNSEND OLYMPIAN ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 63.5cm (25in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 70mm
This is a budget road frame which is in scruffy condition but would be ideal as a beater or cheap ride to work frame. The frame has no dents or dings or cracks and could with its horizontal dropouts be easily used as a fixed or sin gle speed conversion. £25
