Strange one which I have not experienced on ebay before. Won a krpyto lock for 13.47 and the seller messages me after its done to say he wants to cancel the sale because quote '
I'm unprepared to sell the lock at such a low price. Sorry for wasting you time'. Luckily I havnt paid with paypal yet, but what the fuck, surely set a reserve price then. what now?

Neg the seller to death and report them to eBay.

You enter into a contract when bidding/selling so he should sell it to you for that price. Doubt you'll get it, but you can at least cause him hassle with ebay.

Report him first, worry about negging him later.

Im going through the customer support process of reporting but cannot find an option which matches my situation

My father ended up buying an oven for 99p when he refused to back down with the seller in a situation similar to this. didn't get any help lifting it into the car when he went to pick it up though.

Report, neg rep if you want but that won't change much in general since people don't really look at feedback scores...

I'm wondering what to do about a frame I just bought. Fork blades are out of alignment :/ I probably would of replaced the forks anyway but it's still annoying.

Tell him first that you'll give him negative feedback and report him to Ebay, before you do it. People are well protective of their feedback, this might swing it for you. Also if he gets mardy you can copy and paste all this in the email to Ebay's customer service.

He's agreed to sell it to you, so he can't back out now.

I had this exact situation- reported the guy, he emailed me telling me to suck his cock if I thought he'd sell me the item at the price the auction ended on.

Ebay said they'd do something, but couldn't tell me what that something would be.

Useless- bloke clearly didn't give a shit about whatever ebay sanction he might get.

Thanks for the help/advice. Ive managed to get through the ebay support system and send them details of what happened, says they should reply within 3 days. The seller obviously doesnt understand how Ebay works at all. Im not going to bother getting the lock from them as Ive found another on here from a decent person. Should of known going on fleabay atleast I haven't wasted any money...Just for comedy value heres what the seller messaged me
