I've had an eye on the same wheels but worry about max rider weight (I'm 90+kg). I know Easton's wheels have high max rider weight and madfiber have no maximum weight but I don't have $2k!
I am on a (relatively) heavy side too (80-85kg) and while doing some tinternet research came across a forum where planet-x replied to someone asking the same question but about deeper wheels (82/101). The response was : they are fine as long as you don't rock the bike side to side too much (climbing out of the saddle), so I am guessing 50mm will be fine. Worth double checking with planet-x I guess.
