  • Sorry guys, I hadn't presumed my input was sought - er, thanks :)

Likewise, I think you've covered all the bases I would have considered. I agree with the generally agreed order of priorities, too.

I certainly think it is a good idea to have dedicated 'hard corps' evening and/or a 'soft corps' evening session with coaching (ideally 2 or more coaches) - I'm aware that my presence is limiting progression of the already blummin' brilliant poloistas, but obviously it's valuable all-round for the whole spectrum of talent to mix-up regularly too. With the coaching I'd suggest that a sort of informal rota (without obligation) of the more hexperienced players be implemented as you will all be able to develop different aspects of our performance.

I have some limited space in my spare room that can be used for loaner-bikes (once I bump off a granny to buy another twin wall-mount) and goals, etc, as discussed with Neil. As you know I'm not always available to play due to family obligations (if Mrs OD is working late shifts or whatever) but we can make prior arrangements on the rare occasion I wouldn't be in to drop stuff off/have someone collect it.

I reckon to attract a more reliable potential polo-nutter we should be looking at recruiting bike shop staff as easy targets - could even work in our favour for parts :-p

Mrs OD get some seriously cheap printing priviliges at the Uni Print Shop through her student status, we can abuse that until August or so.
