Good to hear BW is being done away with.
If you've read anything about the history of the canals, their overriding priority has always been to stop anyone using them for pleasure. There still people restoring their acts of vandalism from 50 years ago.
Perhaps the replacement charity will actually concentrate on making them safer and more enjoyable.
