Thinking of buying the Planet X merino wool bundle - what do there sizings come up like though? I fall in the medium size about 38 but it says the size of the tops are the width not your chest size. Does this mean I could pick up a large and it'll fit like a base layer?

Seems like too good a deal to pass up on. I just don't want to buy the wrong sizes.
Also does 150gsm or 190 gsm actually mean much?
