I was actually quite surprised about the roundness of my chainring. No slack whatsoever in the rotation. I guess quality control isn't very high.
My cranks worked just fine with a 107mm UN54 bb. Have had them on a Pompino and a Cutter. I guess you could use a 110mm bb and space the cog out a bit if you're worried about chainstay clearance.
