Tourney: London International Invitational 2012 13th-15th Jan

Great time guys, thanks Luca and Em. Top trumps polo was hilarious! Can we do player cards every tournament? It was one of the best tourneys ever. I really liked the vibe all the time and the fact that there was all top teams made it a real pleasure to step on court every game, there was no shame in any result and i think the spread showed that. As Mat said, you could do it all again tomorrow and get another completely different set of results. Props to Hooks, for their consistency, very deserved winners.

Yep, watching the games it was just amazing to see 2 very good teams playing every time. I've not been to many big tournaments (no Euros, LO, etc), and I hadn't seen a lot of those teams play live before, it was just stunning.

Dead Rappers, you guys were amazing, I'm really looking forward to see how much damage you can do to the world elite in the coming summer. I was really pleased that all 4 top London teams made it far in the tournament, 4 of the top 8 in the euro elite, and 2 of the top 4.

Hooks... Wow, I can't believe how good you guys are.

It was a great weekend. Very intimidating but very educational, I feel very privileged to have been part of it. Tornadoooooeeeess!!!

Josh and JohnH, you guys did a great job, proof of that is in the polo that was played and the consistent crowds we got all four days! Amazing.

Thank you all guys. it was an amazing week end. As woods said, we spend 4 awesome days. Everybody was nice to us, the court was pretty good (even if it was a bit slippery). I can't wait to see some of you next week during our show and the week after during the Epiphanie. My only regret was to not play against call me and the poney.

thank you everyone involved for this weekend. Especially Josh and John H, this was the best tournament i have ever attended. everything ran smoothly with no upsets. it was such a good experience playing all the European teams and i cant wait to play you all again! also a thank you to my new team mates b and emmet who i thoroughly enjoyed playing with and played awesomely, next time will be great! cant wait to see all the photos/videos. gunna be awesome.

THANKS London !! First tournament in London for me, I always heard about great tourney here and I was not disappointed at all, it is so great to play against the best and against our friends.
Always a pleasure to see all the european polo community and to discover the future cracks like SuperLuca.

By the way, I know you already heard this song but "I lost my trouser..." ! It's a Zara jeans, with a Nokia phone inside and a little piece of cake which makes laugh.

I think, however, we can safely say that the real winners of this tournament are Polo's trousers.
The epic drama surrounding their disappearance, the prolonged search, the PA announcements, the blood sweat and tears, and the tragic goodbye on sunday evening, only to emerge triumphant on Tuesday morning, gloriously appearing from Endura like the NE Phoenix from the ashes of mitch.
