That Pinarello is just magnificent. I love the insistence of that stem, its agressive 'squaredness', its right-angle, its choice of colour, its contrast against the un-taped bar section. Bold, but it works. Internal cabling. No fuss. Front and rear chrome. The narrowest tyres. It's beautiful. Bet it rides like silk.
9.85/10.

And yet so much fail. Saddle angle to start with, then you realise it's not meant to have equal sized wheels.
Basically a standard SadR post

Gotta admit TheorySwine, I have to agree with you. It really is a tasteful and extremely well crafted bike.
And I'm not even into the retro bikes thing, but its just fine. -

You know what does it for me?
the red valve, it made the whole thing look fantastic.

But only because there is red on the levers and cranks and tyres. Like art innit.
-
• #58708
indeed, doubt we'd notice the small red lining on the component if it wasn't the valve.

Not to mention how the owner has gone out of his way to detach part of the headtube so we can see the head badge its full glory...

Something is very weird about that photo. I suspect a weird fish eye lens.

This is mine and the pics is the way a friend found it... It is being built up with a Mavic group... Starfish cranks, Mavic headset stem and pursuit bars, Mavic hubs laced to TB14 rims...
Don't know what the tubing is??? Aero with 25mm seat post...

Sorry mate, that's fucking retarded.
So, full Mavic and you ditch what they prolly do best - rims.
It's your bike anyways... -
