Hi All

Been stalking for a while learning as much as I can before I jump aboard. New to the country, new to the scene but not new to riding bikes. Mainly rode MTB back in Oz but about to jump on the SS/fixed gear bandwagon just as it's becoming daggy. Looking forward to learning, sharing and having the piss taken out of me.

from london, still riding gears, been lurking for a bit as a single speed / fixed is becoming very appealing for a commute/go anywhere bike, also for some odd unknown reason since a young age i've had a biziarre fascination with any bike with bull horns and there's lots of pics in various threads here.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say here as I can't be arsed to read the thread...

I live in Stoke Newington (London), commute on a single speed (not brave enough to go fixed yet), and spend a lot of my weekends struggling round the lanes of Epping Forest etc on my road bike.

Wanted to join the forum to find people to go on rides with, go for beers with, help me fix my bike (I'm not very tech) etc....

Now if you had made some sweeping and controversial statement without reading the thread I'd say you would have fitted right in especially if that statement insulted someone else. Hi anyway there will be plenty of opportunities to do all of the above.
