Hey guys ! As the evenings are going to be lighter for longer now , does anybody fancy a ride next Tuesday followed by a beer ?
-
• #459
I'd be up for that. Pretty new to Brighton so would be nice to meet some other riders.
-
• #460
I am able to ride a bike and drink beer although I do have a job which precludes afternoon riding but evening jollies are welcomed :)
On a related note poor attendance at polo will soon be rectified

• #461
I am busy until around 7pm on Tuesday. Would love to meet up for post-ride beers though.

Hi, are people up for a Tuesday evening ride ? If so what time is good for you guys 17:30.....or 18:00 ?
-
• #463
18.00 is ideal, however i can do either. Where do people meet?
-
• #464
I think the rumor is 18:00 at the Fiddler's Elbow pub, Boyce's Street, just off West Street.
-
• #465
Yep 18:00 at the fiddlers elbow seems to be best for most people.

Hello there Southerners.
Looks like I'm moving back here for at least 12 months from September. Nabbed a place on Trafalgar Street after looking at one in Hove which fell through.
Haven't cycled in Sussex for probably five years - Any regular Saturday rides out in the downs? Or are you lot just poloengers?
-
• #468
I like to get out on the road bike when I can - days of the week vary depending on work/weather though!
-
• #469
Jolly good. Yep I'm self employed so can adapt accordingly but Saturday's are usually a safe bet for me at the moment.
I'll settle in down there and get back to this thread - or Fiddlers - in September. -

a non-forumger mate and I have a vaguely regular wednesday pm geared ride which people are more than welcome to join in on, would be cool to get a bit of a chain gang on the go
-
• #471
^ keep me in the loop! what sort of pace do you hit? don't wanna hold people back!
-
• #472
not particularly quick, and our riding styles are very different so it always has to meet in the middle anyway. usually a 25-30 mile loop over an hour and a bit
-
• #473
^I'm up for that for sure if its not a wednesday (polo), sat morning is always good, I love a bit of lycra
-
• #474
I'm up for a road ride, who's up for a ride next week?
-
• #475
