So what happens to all the misprinted greys? Bonus t-shirt for having a delay? :)
I very much doubt it...
Given the amount of work required to keep on top of this project (I don't envy you Josh!), one must be prepared for any delays, which are completely and utterly out SP's control.

Thanks Zed.
I haven't really thought about what to do with them. They haven't asked for them back and I don't see why they would, but I need to get the order completed, in my possesion, fully paid for and sent out before I do anything with them in case they unexpectedly ask for them back. Unless they confirm in the meantime that they definitely don't want them. I might even just ask them straight if they expect them back, just to be certain.
I really am very sorry about the delays incurred, it's personally quite embarrassing, but it's to be expected with made-to-order, short-run jobs like this. The idea is to make something of good quality using an original illustration and sell it for a price that is well below what an equivalent might cost in a shop (often made by the thousand and printed on crap cotton).
If I add up all the time spent designing, drawing, organising, corresponding and chasing and imagine that I'm paying myself a minimum wage then I'm still making a loss. My objectives are threefold: put a modest sum in the kitty to help with utility bills, give myself a financially-viable reason to do illustration (bear in mind that my other commitments mean a LOT of midnight oil has been burnt) and make something to be proud of that people will be pleased to pay for and use.
I imagine I'll sell these bonus shirts when I come to sell all the other leftover stock, maybe at a discounted rate.

You're doing a great job there, Josh. I can't remember too many T-shirt projects on here in which something or other hasn't gone wrong with the printers, that's quite normal.

Josh, sell all the wrongies if they don't ask for them back. Make yourself a few extra pennies, it sounds fair enough to me.

Update:
I now have the rest of these T-shirts in my possession. My plan is to go at it hammer and tong tonight to get them sorted, bagged and addressed, to then send them off before work tomorrow morning.
I will then be selling the rest of the stock I have available from next weekend (4th and 5th of February). This amounts to about 40 T-shirts in all of the colours and some sizes (mostly medium), including those that were printed by mistake (off-white/cream on heather grey).

brilliant news! Great that you get to sell the off-piste prints as well. Hopefully it'll make up for the amount of time you've spent dealing with printers etc. :)
