I would recommend Absolut, I know the whole advertising strategy etc etc but it is very easy to drink and a nice vodka ( I assume from the thread title you mean straight, maybe ice) but either way the pleasantness without mixer is enhanced with mixer.
Żubrówka - also good. (also covered) - edit 3 - I need to read OP post that bit better whilst imbibing.
