• All the wheels will stand the punishment mate TBH really depends on the hub quality really as the Miche as real nice and the Quando are built for a budget pair..Saty with crosse spoke pattern and probably a 30mm DP18 rim and you will be fine..
No prbs with a 16t sprocket..

    Jim.

Just having a flick through the V-Sprint wheels site, and wanting a bit of advice before I take the plunge and order a pair.

The bike is a day to day commuter, running up and down at least 10 miles of London's not quite finest roads each day. I currently weigh around 104kg, so would want something that can stand up to my weight, and the abuse due to potholes etc. that I throw at them. I'd like to keep running 700x23 tyres too.

With that in mind, which hub/rim combo would you recommend?

I'd also want to grab a 16t singlespeed freewheel. as I'm not currently planning on riding fixed, and 16t was what I had on my old bike. Any recommendations on a freewheel to go with them?

Hmm, also any recommendations on tyres?

sorry for all the questions. just want to makes sure I'm grabbing the right parts to fit everything together, as its my first new build!

    Thanks in advance!
