Heads-up on a good deal for Garmin 405CXs at Amazon at the moment - £125 inc. HR monitor. Ordered on Monday with the free delivery (3-5 days) option and arrived Weds.

Managed my first run in about six months on Sunday evening. I don't run as often as I should because I don't feel I really need to, but it always surprises me how much I actually enjoy it. Probably not trying hard enough.
Since I'm totally useless at checking the time before I leave the house and obviously need more motivation, I thought the Garmin sounded good, if a bit excessive for my needs. Sunday for example, I know thanks to google maps I managed a decent enough 7.2 miles up through Highgate and Hampstead, but I'm always annoyed that I get back not knowing how long it took.
P.S. After struggling to post a normal link to Amazon, it seems the forum automatically changes it to a referral from 'buro9'. Shame I didn't know that beforehand or I'd have posted the link, clicked through it, and made DK about 10p richer.
