Rode past this on my way to work.
Chelsea tractor with great big chrome bull bars (I thought that they were illegal now) was half turned into Birkbeck Rd from Acton High St and there was a bike on the pavement that looked mangled.
The police were on the scene, had closed Acton High St to traffic Eastbound and were making good with measuring tape and cameras. Driver was no-where to be seen.
I asked one of the officers about the rider, he told me that; the rider had been taken to hospital and that his next of kin had been informed. The next of kin bit made me worry that it may have in fact been more serious than I initially thought, hope that the rider is just bruised and shaken up.
