  • I dropped out of school before I was kicked out, I was a similar age then to what you are now and still went to uni. The way I see it there is nothing wrong with "sowing your wild oats" in my case an injury stopped me from becoming a pro rugby player so I joined the marines (mainly because my parents are pacifists and I was pissed at the world and wanted to rebel) then got kicked out for failing a piss test and went off the rails. All of this is because the only thing I ever wanted to do was taken away from me, I am at the age of 30 only just starting to get back on track - if there is such a thing.

    Do it train hard, push yourself, don't look back at the end of the day you can return to education later in life, if you want to take your cycling seriously you will find yourself sailing over the crest of that hill MUCH sooner than you thought possible and once you're over the hill sadly there is no going back no matter how hard you try.
