I recently bought an old sun worksop frame from 1980's ish and got it re sprayed, i asked the guy i got it from to make it a complete bike just so i could ride and get around. The time has come to upgrade and replace components.
Wheels are my first port of call.
I looked around for abit and decided i wanted a mavic rim with a l/f campag record hub. I thought i found what i wanted. Being new to this i didnt realise that sprint rims meant tubs, and have now started the search again.
I been offered (which ive take) A pair of mavic open sport rims, l/f campy record hub, spokes , tyres and tubes, only thing is that i need to build them.
Ive now started to take a shine to mavic ma2 rims or something similar with a square finish.
Can anybody advise me if i should stick to what im getting, go for ma2's or suggest anything else?
Any help will be AMAZING!!!
