The thing about that WipEout video that makes me think it might be fake is the fact that they are controlling the model craft remotely. Also, the fact that the superconducting material used above is super thin (it seems thicker due to liquid nitrogen 'ice') enabling it to be trapped in a magnetic field makes me think it wouldn't work with the chunky model WipEout craft...
