Jeez!! For some reason I had you down as a little fella, clearly not little at all....
Have you got all the parts already?

6'2" - 16 stone... not so little ha - have you not seen any of my other bikes!? this is small by comparison....
Got everything apart from a band on converter for the front mech, a chain, some carbon headset spacers and a nice 100mm stem.

No not very little at all, I obviously don't pay enough attention. I will search out your other bikes...
Shame you got everything I was going to take the opportunity to flog you a hardly used Mirage groupset. Look forward to seeing the build complete. Is it an eBay frame?

Just saw your other post about it - full carbon + Campag build for under £500. Nice challenge.

How about a 3T ARX Ltd stem in 100m? £1 per mm
Good price

I wish, but would be a 5th of the build budget, a budget that has already been spent!
Big red wheel is for an aero velocipede project, OG fixeh....

I saw a bike that looked a lot like this in LMNH this evening. Does it belong to Sumo?
I also saw a sweet Van Tuyl cross bike.

Yeap Sumo has one, a slightly different frame with some pretty fancy parts on it I believe.
There are few others on the forum as well.

yeah that was mine. You can tell them apart because mine is nicer.

fancy? Just because my saddle and seatpost alone cost nearly half your whole bike...

did Scoot sign off the acquisition of the fancy crabon you found the other day?
-
• #17
the frame? I'll probably get it eventually, but not any time too soon. First major purchase is a set of 60mm carbon clinchers from Planet X.
I also really really want the Ritte frameset, so should just buy that one, it would give me an incentive to save for Sram Red too. -

Yeah the frame, the ritte is nice but is it worth it?
-

CycleLab are the only london stockists for Ritte.... Pearl Distribution in Cheshire are the UK distributers.
Krisz, the owner of of CycleLab has a Bosberg with Red on it. I took it for a test spin a while back, as I'm also considering a Bosberg. It is a beautiful ride. The sizing is a bit funny though. I believe he has also just got a Crossberg, the cross version of the same frame.

He was racing on his Ritte cross bike at Herne Hill recently. Looks nice.
-
• #22
they are very nice looking bikes - unfortunately they are just a repainted open mould/pedalforce frame...
£1500 for Ritte Bosberg
£500 for same frame from Pedal force (plus £250 for a good fork)= £750 for nice paint - and for that reason I am out

p.s - build looks nice Mrlaysian.

aka no ;)
Hoping to put this together tomorrow, crabon frame, Mirage group, Sciroccos... I guess it's going to be a bit of a Sunday bike, will probably end up selling it in the summer after enjoying it for a few months.
The bars and stem pictured are not the ones destined for this bike, they were just to hand so thought I'd stick em on.
