  • I think my rigid forks are spot on for the frame. But then, a year or so ago. 80mm travel was considered the norm for a 29er. Its all 100mm, like the most other XC hardtails, these days I guess. I've had to flip my stem to get my bars acceptably low. Partly a shortarse issue, partly a longboard issue. The front end is already as aggressive as I'd ever want. So I'm not lowering it with a shorter fork.

    I considering picking up a 80mm travel fork, and a dropable seatpost for it. In an attempt to make it more of an aggressive off-roader. i figure the fatbike will steel a fair amount of gravel path time from it.
