  • 21% off Rapha ALPDQUIZ21 ends 15th Jan 2012

Only for their 'classic products' though

  • My two cents:I was under the impression that I could wear it a bit more versatile, but simply walking around in it proved not te be a good option (too cold) and neither did cycling around 10 degrees (too hot).

To me that sounds 'normal' though and like most other soft shells. Try a gilet for 5-10° riding perhaps?

    A-fucking-gain.

Buy something (last time it was Fenella), next day a discount code appears.

Yeah, you're definitely right. I guess I took their ''versatile enough to be worn in all but the warmest conditions" description a bit too literally. Not complaining though; it's a great jacket nonetheless.

  • FESTIVE511 gets you 10% off everything- including sale items.

  • ^ do you know when that expires?

  • 15th I believe

  • And they told me there were no more codes available. Tsch.

    /spank rapha

I guess it would be considered bad form to return everything and then rebuy it with the code ;-p

  • I've just done the same - bought some stuff yesterday and today..... Some new discount codes appear.

    Ah well.

Having just added up how much I've spent in the last year, I feel a little bit sick. I'm also even more in awe of Imperial Works members.

  • Anyone used their Embrocation cream ? Is it worth getting?

  • Don't confuse it with the chamois cream

Thanking you very much! Been holding on to some Xmas money for such an opportunity. My Milwaukee needs replacing (which I nearly did yesterday) but £50 off a Softshell is too good to miss. Never see them in the sample sales either.
    Trigger pulled, blow cushioned.

  • Which agency do you use for a cushioned blow prior to releasing your trigger?

  • ... snigger ...

  • To folk who haz Rapha. Im a 38-40 chest, will a large be the right ballpark for me?

  • there is a little tab called sizing, some garments differ so check the sizing for the garment you are considering

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMedium.

  • Appreciate.

  • Unless you are tall, when you'll be large due to limb length

Check their size charts as dancing james suggests as they're pretty accurate.

    I'm a 38" chest and I'm mostly a medium.

    tush!

  • (But also hehehe)

PM'd - its neither nice or pricey, so doesn't belong in this thread.

Sounds like you're on the cusp between large and medium. Order one of each and return the one that doesn't fit.

  • I used to work for a company that built websites including some top high-street women's fashion labels (and hackett spit) and was extremely shocked when I found out how it's common practice for women to order the same items in up to 3 or 4 sizes taking their basket totals up into the many hundreds just so they could try it all on and return the bulk of it because it doesn't fit and end up with just one item. it boggled my mind completely. seems like so much hassle.
