Thought I’d bring this old thread back to life as like the original poster Wicksie I'd like to do a tour of 40 ish miles day for 2 or 3 days.
To complicate things slightly I will leaving from London and my mate will be going from Exeter. We were hoping to both get the train somewhere to meet up and then start the tour.
It sort of rules out the previous suggestion of Devon as that won’t be much of a break for him.
I’d be very grateful for any ideas?
