When I have big work done i use bepanthen for the first week or so, then vaseline, then a body lotion for 2 or 3 weeks.... mine is healed beautifully colour is as good today as it was 5 or 6 years ago.

Personally, and from customers, best thing to do I wrap for
24 hours, dry for 24 hours, wash every 4 hours, thin layer of
Bepanthen (thinned on radiator) twice daily. Kills it. -

Acriflex also does the job - it's a burns/scars cream

I used to use Savlon and never really had a problem, then I tried Bepanthen and was like "oh ok, that's how tattoos are meant to heal". It's so much better for healing them up, virtually no scabbing etc.
Can't say as any of my work that I healed with savlon looks fucked or faded or anything though.

Rich @ RavenskinI'm not a big fan of 'comic tattoos', but I like that. Studio Ghibli rocks!

Nope the scabbing is on blue. But only on one separate section of blue. -

who is this by?
Trust me, savlon really isn't good. Use bepanthen or acriflex gel, only two I'd ever rate. Or dry healing if you're getting tattooed by someone lighthanded.
