  • I don't drink mid-week, after a couple of decades of drinking every day. I've stopped for about six months now, but still like a good drink of a weekend.

    A good drink is plain old tonic with ice and slice, or even swapping the lemon with cucumber. Dresses it up a bit, makes it feel like a proper drinky poos.

    I'm doing this for Jan. Sun - Thurs off the booze, Fri & Sat on. Hopefully an easy way to lose a bit of the Xmas weight gain.

    I did a totally dry Jan a couple of years ago and hated it. Jan suddenly seemed to go on forever and is shit enough with booze.
