Sorry for misunderstanding. All these Pashley Royal Mail bike are not mine. I took the picture from the Council truck, which normally they take metal stuff to put on the scrap yard. I still saw this truck this morning (tuesday, 2nd Jan 2012) with full of frame pashley. But I couldn't find the driver/ask the details, but I m sure council knows what's going on with scrapping the post office bikes..

This is a travesty! If anyone knows the story here, or feels up for investigating where these are going, let me know. I'd hate to see these super-useful bikes go to waste.

The dead hand of Adam Crozier again. Everything he's put in charge of turns to sh*t.

I use to work for royal mail a few years ago, just as they were introducing the new bikes. Watched many a pashley frame getting cut in half. Asked to take one but told that they were passed there certified date and had to go. Even allowing me to have one unoffically wasnt gonna happen. Sad days indeed.

At least they might be recycled and reused in Africa, that's better than just being scrapped. Still a ridiculous and shameful decision though.

If anybody was interested in the royal mail trolley/cart things you see locked around. There's a skip full of broken and injured ones outside the Kilburn parcel depot. I went to pick up a package and the office is on the site so you can happily wander past the skip.
..soon will go to the metal scrap yard..nice Pashley Royal Mail Bike. May be someone can same them as LFGSS courier bikes?? Picture taken in surrey quays area..
Sorry I don't know which 'Prefix' I should put..so just put on 'freecycles'..(well if someone can collect them by dealing with council may be , then it's freecycles..)
