  • I get mine out with a long flat blade screwdriver and a rubber mallet. A good tap should do it. If the cups are that tight, getting them back might be a problem. If you're respraying, make sure to trim excess paint off the head tube. You need a headset press to put the cups back but you could make one with a length of threaded rod, two big nylon washers, two metal washers and two big nuts. Do one at a time and carefully. Just tighten the whole apparatus until the cup pops in.
